It's funny how the person who thinks outside of the box is the one that catches hell, but gets praise for perceived success. And I can name so many transformative people who have done just that, but are not recognized for their thinking outside of what they were presented as children. I think I was born to disturb the thinking of our society in a way that it can create hatred, anger, and many negative emotions that people direct to those who shape their own thinking. I don't expect any of you to break your programming with my blogs, but I only ask for objective thinking. And if you can't do that, then I will make you angry, and yes, I intend to be very controversial and confrontational. I think some things should be questioned, and there is nothing wrong with directing attention to HABITS.
Why is there a "god bless" after a sneeze and not after a burp? Why is the person who is being attacked ridiculed for reacting to the attack? Why is the person who is brilliant refused recognition because they don’t have a college degree? The "god bless you” was brought in by Europeans, think about it. The Indigenous natives didn't have a saying after someone sneezed, because they knew it was natural, but it became a normal response from Europeans. When a person farts no one says, "god bless you”, burps, or coughs, there is nothing said. But instead, the person doing these things will have to excuse themselves to the person or people they are around—these things are natural gasses being released from the body. The question of manners and courtesy is thrown out as shamming tactic for those who don't adhere to what society deems as courteous. Now, I am not saying spread your germs or smell in closed areas, but I am saying, have courtesy, but have it without the extra—like a sneeze. The plague devastated European society because of the ferocious way it killed thousands of people with no cure. The doctors had no way to stop it, even their medicines were no match for this plague along with wars, which created even more problems. Religion was the last hope for this plague, so the priests and nuns were called in as a last hope. As the dying person is prayed over, many times they would sneeze, and the priests made the people seem like that was a sign given that the person is ridding the body of their illness. So, after every sneeze there was a "god bless" you that followed, and from then on it became a habitual response. Well, forget your "god bless" because I don't say it, and nor do I need it, this is one less thing I must be concerned with in my everyday life. People that say they are fed up with this politically correct society, but those same people don't agree with my stance, and they don't know why they say, "god bless you" also. Even the ones claiming to be atheist say this, that's funny. The college degree, tattoos, body focus, religion, and so many things, will get my attention as I grow in my BLOGGING.
